AllMudd Are you referring to the TC skid plate as the shovel? If so yes that's where it goes if it didn't you would not be able to drop the TC/TRANS enough to accomplish what you are trying to do, with keeping the Trans mount.

AllMudd Not sure what your really asking. But the TC lowering lowers the whole driveline to make he driveshaft angle less (in degrees).

TC drop questions.

I am in the process of installing a 1 inch t-case drop(don't have the funds right now for SYE and new drive shaft). I guess I was confused about the intended purpose of the shovel. As I was removing the bolts on the frame I got one side loose and proceeded to fully remove the other and when I did the tranny and the case both dropped. I had a jack read so luckily it didn't fall far. But is it intended to be the tranny mount as well? Or am I missing something? I was under the impression that I had to remove it first then the mount.
