jdhallissey Have you tried loosing up your tranny skid. That will pitch the motor so you can have more room getting the top 2 bolts out. I am thinking a long extension with a swivel should give you enough room to get them out.

1998 Wrangler 4 liter engine removal

I am stuck removing the engine from my 1998 wrangler by the two 10mm bolts in the top of the bell housing. (they go from the transmission into the back of the engine housing) Sockets don't have enough clearance for the wrench to move even with extensions and a swivel head wrench isn't long enough to get the torque to loosen the bolts. Any suggestions?
