All is well for them. They were allowed to go back yesterday. Now I guess there is another one close to Creede. My grandparents live in Del Norte.
Hope Colorado gets some much needed rain. It's sad to see it go up in flames year after year.

|JeepandMud||Sorry to hear about your losses. I have quite a few fellow Jeep friends and non Jeep friends in the Springs area who have been evacuated. This is a fire we all want it to be done with. Too many acres have burned. There's a thread on this in the Colorado Forum by a Jeeper who's keeping tabs on it since his fiancee and her parents lived there and have been evacuated.|

Sorry to hear that :-( My brother in-law was evacuated in the Springs. I used to live in the Denver area and the Black Forest was always one of my favorite places to Drive through.

Black Forest fire
I regret to inform my fellow jeepers that my jeep has been destroyed by the Black Forest fire. she was with me from Sept 17, 2007-June 13, 2013. We had some good time and some bad, but that 99 TJ was not only good jeep it was a good vehicle....I was in the process of repairing the rear differential at my in-laws house. So the back axle was dropped out of it and as I was helping them pack and leave I could hope that the fire wouldn't come and take their house or my jeep, but our fears came to life when we got the call Thursday morning that the property was destroyed. :-( it is sad but all family members are safe and that is what truly matters.
