|Dougzin||How's it goin folks? Been MIA recently, you know girlfriends do that to you. Been sorta busy with the Mini instead of the Jeep. New exhaust (Borla) and a few other knick knacks. Got my jeeps death wobble cured and I'm all ready for Hammers wheeling very soon!|
|Yesterday 10:45 PM|
Hahahaha where was the most liquid. Inside you guys or in the lake?
Well I found out just how good my armor works. I went to the dealer for my 15000 service today. Lo and behold they call me back to show me that they can't change my oil. Why? Because my ORE oil pan armor had a dent right where the oil plug goes. It was just enough that they couldn't get the last few threads out. I will post a picture of it. It saved my oil pan from a huge leak on the trail. Is armor worth the bucks Oh Yeah.

Ahhh, made it home, got the boat safely tucked away in the garage, motorhome cleaned and emptied out. We had a great time, as we always do with our crowd.
I can pretty much sum up the weekend by saying, "Fireball"

|K9HDLR||I headed out to Miller Jeep Trail with my girls. Not too bad but a lot of steep uphill climbs. Lockwood trail on the way was fun too.|

They will fully allow you to go faster thru rougher terrain... Which basically means you'll end up breakin more shit... But it's worth it!!
My old fox ressi shocks were great, my new king coilovers are f$&%#* AWESOME!

Cool shots joe. You got a nice back yard. Mine is all concrete and houses. They highly disapprove of my climbing on things with my jeep.
So I got under the Jeep today and found that ALL the shocks are leaking.. They are all rebuildable if I bought the kits but they are only 10 and 9 inch travel shocks. Sooooo it looks like there are a set of shocks in my future. What to do with the old ones. Trash em or sell them cheap. They can be converted to remotes with the kit. Time for some longer travel stuff.

Was depressed that I couldn't make Mattino with Steve, so I played around in my backyard a bit today. I call this one "Phil McCracken":

Look on pirate4x4 for their 3 and 4 link calculator, works well
Get your anti squad between 70 to 100% try for 0 degrees roll center and your Limo should work like a champ

|Gunner||Oh Yeah I have seen a few of those. Genright makes one as well as a couple of others. I'm not to sure how a 3 link would be in fast whoops. Might be a bit weak having to handle all the upper load.|

|Gunner||Nope I am just getting into the beam axle suspension mod learning curve. I like the idea of all the links having full range of movement joints. Some only have rubber on one end.|

We talked about him doing a custom along with a 3 link front. I am talking to him tuesday and see what he has in mind. I think 12 inches is pretty good for a DD 4 door.
Kenny this is what I was talking about.

By the way for 12" travel stick with your coil springs. 14' Coilovers done right are sweet

|Gunner||The joys of a home builder. I had a Cad program for Drag car suspensions. But it all died when my HP died. I went with Mac and they don't make them for Macs. Do you have Windows?|
