2five22 With cordless reciprocating and cutoff saws being used by determined thieves, pretty much anything on the exterior of a Jeep is easy to steal.

That said, I have Rigid lighting on my Rubicon and I refuse to go back to old lighting technology.

I don't think it's a hot item theft wise, since it's not an easy sell. Only offroaders use em, which is a very small market theft wise. Either that or thieves haven't caught on yet. The only one of mine that's easy to steal is the 50". The others are far more difficult. I have them all insured, so if they take em, I'll get a new one and still be home in time for dinner.

Sinister6 I have mine mounted to the bar over the winch...I used small bolts with dual lock nuts. If they want to take it, they also want it to work so they will have to work for it. If they just want to vandalize it, well, that's why I have insurance.

led bar theft issue?

Hello - I'm considering an LED bar for the front grill but I was wondering if you're aware of any theft issues with these?

Considering they cost several hundred dollars, I can see how they would be attractive to thieves. And considering they simply bolt on as an aftermarket part it seems like they would be easy for a thief to unbolt.

This combination makes me wonder if there are any theft issues with LED bars mounted to Jeeps?
