erickpl Can you hop in, butt first, then turn in the seat safely? I have a coworker with a Jeep and that is how she gets in the TJ.

Drive thru....remove doors, problem solved, lol.

There are steps u can add. Most seem to like the ones that drop down when u open the door.

Ill just rough it. I have a 4" lift now, won't go any higher than 6" on this rig. So hopping works for me. Too many mods and repairs take my $$. But when I buy another for a true mudder, I'm gonna need a ladder for that bad boy Oh the plans, yet so lil $$

Most of them are powered and operate off the door switch. Open the door and they drop down. Close the door and they retract.

The biggest prob I run into is when reaching in for something. Because of the lift im on toes bent over reaching up. All us girls know exactly what that does to anything supposedly covering the rear end. LOL.

Raoul You need some firecrackers, with ten second fuses.
Light - drop - and walk to jeep. Enter vehicle during explosions.

I use this technique when I have to go to the mailbox and I don't want to put my clothes on.

lindel Rope ladder...

n00g7 A stool, with a rope attached, so you can pull it into the jeep once you're up.

It's like soap on a rope for the prying eyes of your neighbors instead of inmates in the prison showers.

Probably. But we still want to see pictures.

RoadiJeff My wife is just a fraction over 5'-0" and our Sahara is her DD. With its 18" wheels and the highest ground clearance of any stock Wrangler she doesn't seem to have much trouble getting in and out of it.

I don't know if she's tried it in a pencil skirt and heels yet.

derf That would certainly be a sight to see. I'm betting you'd have to almost be a contortionist to keep your modesty intact.

Beyond the drop down step (or bringing a stool), I imagine strategically placed grab handles would help as well. Though I don't think you'll find too many mass produced handles that aren't on the top bar of the roll cage but if you can fabricate some (or know someone who can) that can be mounted lower in the door opening they would probably help considerably.
