MarkWVU02 Worse case scenario I could buy a package with tired and new rims, just trying to see what will work with what I have. For some reason the 33x10.5s just look so tall and narrow. I like the wide tire to beef it up a bit.

Jerry Bransford 4.75" of backspacing is too much for a 12.5" wide tire, that wide of a tire would rub its inside sidewall on the rear spring buckets and control arms. You could install 1/2" wheel spacers to reduce it to 4.25" which would work.

Tire Question

I have Black Rock 997's 15 inch with 4.75" backspacing. Currently I have BFG AT's that are 33x10.5x15. I'm a long way off from needing tires but was wondering if I could pull off 33x12.5x15s when I'm ready for new tires. Would this be possible or do I need to buy new rims too? The rims are less than 10,000 miles old.
