Hey Mel,
I'm in Madison as well. Were you able to find a fix for your vibe? I had that issue a while back; although, my trans mount was new, it had to be readjusted twice before my vibe quit. My vibe was bad, I had serious grinding too. RCOR, was the only shop I could find to fix it for me. All other shops gave me the run around. Are there other shops you have learned of around here?

This is in all the local forums. The land owners are just fed up with the trash, police are tired of the drunks, injuries and the death of a child last year. Yea, they are damn serious.

unlblkrubi Easter ride is a drunk fest, stay far away. These people leave a bad taste to the locals. Police will be there.

It's a little bit of a drive but "shoals drive shaft" in muscle shoals is where I take any of my drive shaft work. From muscle cars with custom parts to just replacement stuff they are great. Good luck.

erickpl Headed down to Stony Lonesome (most likely) this coming Friday (11/22). Meeting up with some folks who attended the jamboree where I was a trail guide. Gonna hit up some more trails and have some more fun.

Just got the Jeep cleaned up from the jamboree... time for more dirt I guess.

TexasJoe, where in Texas you from? UNT-Denton graduate here! I'm also in Monrovia not far from the bridge being 'rebuilt' (I use that term loosely - they haven't done squat on it yet that I can see other than take it out!) LOL

FrozenPuma This is the closest address I can find. If you travel through 5points going up the mountain on 72 the land truss is on the left just past tollgate rd. I think the address is

2459–2475 Bankhead Pkwy NE
Huntsville‎ Alabama‎ 35801

If you look at an aerial view and just follow 72 up the mountain you can see the clearing.

I'd also be interested in more info on this. Do you have a GPS or address for the area?
