Hank1550 Thanks for all the great advice. Stick or glue on Mirrors definitely the way to go.

Neral22 Another option is to get stick on round mirrors and stick them to the side ac vents. You can then turn the vents to the desired location.

Spot mirrors

Go to an auto parts store, you may have to check out several, and pick up a pair of swivel post spot mirrors, $8.00 +/-ea.. Mounted in the upper corners of the windshield they not only cover your blind spots, but adjusted right you can see over yours and the passengers shoulders for extra view behind with the top off. Also, once they are set exactly where you want them a drop of super glue in the swivel joints keeps them where you want them.

This is easy to do and does provide some blind spot vision. You won't realize how much you need your side view mirrors until they are not there.

DFW6ER As long as your spare doesn't completely obstruct your rearview mirror's field of view you're good to go. But honestly, driving w/o at least a sideview mirror on the driver's side is dangerous. Do yourself and everyone else on the road a favor and pick up a relocation kit or get a harley mirror to put in your door hinge.

Side Mirrors

Do I need side mirrors to drive with my doors off in Tx or as long as I have a rear view mirror will that suffice?
