michiganadam I love how all these people complain about OP getting this starwood jeep. But its ok to spend $50k on a stock jeep. How on earth is a stock jeep worth $50k anyway? Meh....

I like my $16k jeep.

By the way, that "smittybilt display model" has the ugliest grill i've ever seen.

BLING BLING wooo hooo

WOW ! ! ! $110,000.00 For a Smittybilt display model ! ! ! ! Anyone who buys one of these and supports this company has some serious penis envy.

$110.000.00 ! ! ! ! -
If anyone has penis envy, I think we all know who that is and it isn't the OP

3PedalMINI Seriously, I dont understand what the deal is with people.

Considering your jeep is just as capable (if not more since your insanely awesome paint finish is indestructible) if not more then the 10a/10x people spending 47k on them i dont see why a few more grand matters.

Your jeep is incredible and a very tastefully done starwood. Im not a fan of alot of their jeeps just because they look overdone but yours is perfect. LOVE that color and that finish is just incredible.

Congrats on an incredible vehicle!

Since you built applications for some of the biggest names in the industry, can I put in a request? I would (and the many others) would like to have a native app for Windows 8 phones to control sonos im a sonos dealer and can put you in contact with the CEO and the CTO's over there in santa barbara ca

I cant tell you how much hate/smack mail I have gotten from SOOOO many "Jeepers" on here about me buying a Starwood Jeep. While many guys here have been very helpful to me with numerous questions, almost as many have given me crap on this jeep. Why it matters to them is beyond me. I like it and thats all that matters, I get more compliments on a daily basis about this jeep than some of my other "toy" cars. And as far as Starwood is concerned? They have been top notch.
Best of luck with the new Starwood. Now let the flaming begin.
Never sweat the simpletons. I built my entire rig from the ground up, but I have to say that some of the Starwood rigs are shit hot!!

You're a jeeper just like the rest of us, with a sick ass rig, end of story.

No, those fenders suck. They look like they're homemade out of ply wood. Stick with the pocket flares.

Try and keep up or open your eyes. Possibly both.

Just be careful, and do your homework. Because at Starwould, instead of below invoice, they'll try to charge you at least CSRP (Chuck's Suggested Retail Price), for his toe-nacious toenail clippings liner. Plus, if they later start swapping out and sending you aftermarket parts, that have been sprayed with their "special" pickup bed-liner paint, make doubly sure that you don't get stuck with parts that have only been coated with the lesser Steven Seagal protective clippings. Big difference!

I once saw the skid plates of a '72 FJ40 that sported Bruce Lee big toe clippins'......Forgetaboutit!

ky77 That jeep is crazy man. Im curious did you ever consider painting the rims with the same blue paint. I only ask because some if the hooked up jeeps Im seeing done now have the bars side rails rims hardtop all the same color and they have looked sick too. How cool is it that you already taking that beast off road. Congrates again man

HRPinDC Nice Jeep! and the Selby is badass! Almost bought a 65 GT350 about 15 years ago. Still kicking myself for wimping out. It was a lot of money at the time, but no where near where they're selling today.

Point two, for all the haters on here, I just ask why? What's it to you if someone bought they're ride instead of building it? Don't be a dick. I built a ridiculous YJ many years ago, did much of the work myself and then wheeled the heck out of it. Now I'm at a different point in my life where I don't have the time or the space to do the work myself. So I would gladly pay someone else.

Point three, as to that ugly Starwood monster and Aviril Levine, I would love to ride the crap out of both of them.

I will have it painted with the same type of paint. (Only pink) and I can't decide which I like better. The ones you have on your jeep now or the pocket flares. I'm having the flares, angled back hard top and new bumpers painted black (same type of paint as the body though). I think the pocket flares look more aggressive but I'm mot sure which way to go. Thanks so much!
Easy. Pocket flares

willysdave Hey ! congrats ! , you did take it off road . I probably didn't do anything crazy with mine when I first got it also .Hopefully you will continue to wheel it and gather great memories as we have . what do you guys like to do when you go offroad , fish , hike , do you like to camp ?We will be camping out this next weekend and wheeling and fishing .You really need some quality time away from work to put it all into perspective , especially when you own your own co . Good luck and enjoy !

Sucker Punch Great looking Jeep and congrats! If you had started a build thread for this and built it up from stock you would have everyone (maybe not everyone) drooling and in love with your Jeep. You are just getting the haters because you paid a premium to have everything done the way you want it. Who gives a crap if you built it yourself or had a dealer or shop install the upgrades? I know from experience that doing mods at home usually take weeks (or in my case years) when you could simply take it to a local shop and have it done in a day. When I get my 2014 JKU I plan on having a shop handle all the big mods. Your latest pics look great and the paint color looks better in those pics to me.
