sevenservices my dog is a fox terrier, she drives the YJ... She does great riding, depends a lot on the dog. If they like car rides, you'll be fine. Only I have to help her in sometimes. She did make the jump to my seat from the ground once...

That's awesome! Thanks for the idea. Got a pic by any chance?

BabyGrrr My dog is a Chow/Retrevier mix and he LOVES going for a ride. All I have to say is load up and he's jumped in the Jeep through the window before I get out the front door. He's also amazing at staying inside even when my Jeep is totally naked.

Symmi I have a YJ and my two German Shepherd mixes (both about 100 lbs) fit in the back with the seat in. They have to sit but they don't mind they're just happy to go for a ride. One can jump in by himself and the other cannot. Hope this helps.

tae73 No issue with 90 pound lab in the back of my TJ had a set of rainglers to keep her in. Need to sell and get some for the JK now.

adkjoe TJ and a 50lb Husky. She sits on the front seat when it's just us and I have no backseat so she just lays down in the open space in the back. When top and doors are off she stays in the back. I hook her leash to the roll bar when I have to run into the store.

as long as she has her ball shes happy.

That helps a ton. Was it an LJ?

B4DFISH First off, I'm looking into either an LJ or a TJ.

My question to all of you is how dog friendly is your jeep when hauling them from point A to point B?

I have 2 dogs an 85lb Rottweiler, a 40lb Rott/Pitt mix, and my boyfriend has a 60lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.

Also, I would love to see pictures of how you have your dogs set up in your rig!
