hair2831 If you want a cheap solution to keeping the undercarriage cleaner while you wheel, spray it down with WD-40 before you hit the trails. Mud will not stick to anything you spray it on. Only downside is you have to keep applying it but it does work. I sprayed mine down and then drove through some crazy mud holes. Nothing stuck.

DirtyTeddy Would make cleaning the under body less tedious

Arsonman My concern is how long does it last. I could see spraying this on the seats, engine and underbody, but only if it lasts for a while.

Smitty119 Well I appreciate all the insight. I definitely don't want to put anything on the interior that will produce an off color when it dries. Anyone know of anything else?

And that Never Wet stuff is pretty crazy.

Elconquistador I went to Home Depot yesterday to get some, just to play with it and see what uses I can get out of it. But they didn't have it yet. I think it's only in a few stores now, and they'll roll it out to all stores in July sometime. I'm thinking it could work great in parts of the engine bay

TJ-GTR I could see this being useful on the underneath side of a Jeep. I might consider this for a frame coating. I'm not to concerned about the color of it.

zerinS4 Yeah, this is now packaged and sold under the Rustoleum brand at Home Depot/Lowes. I wouldn't use it on anything that has any color to it because it DOES leave a milky/chalky haze when it dries.

MTNJeep It's $20 at the home depot and covers 10-15 sq. ft. That's kind of expensive. Some report it affecting the appearance or touch of the surface.

I'm interested if anyone does use it on their Jeep. Subscribed....

Water Proofing Interior

I was on a website the other day (the chive) and saw a video about some water proofing spray that works on "anything". It is called Never Wet. The videos look like it is the real deal but before I go out and buy some I wanted to see I anyone else has done something similar to the interior of their Jeep.

I attached the link to the site. But you can buy it at Home Depot.

Any thoughts before I deck out my JKU with this stuff
