I agree. Steelies are the way to go. That pic is the first time I have liked 15 inch wheels on a JKU. I usually think they look too smallbut they work especially well in this case because the extra cg color is understated and just accents the color on the jeep - not too flashy. These are not tacky and have the added bonus of affordability.

I thought about it, then went this route instead. I think it has a "more military" feel to it.

If you want something Powder Coated Commando Green you need to contact Jessie at Prismatic Powders (866-774-7628) and she will fix you up...I thank You!!!

TeraFlex FYI: army green won't match a commando green I'm going through this same process right now and it's proving to be a challenge.

Lowerumble Look in the military jeep thread. Someone posted a pic of a green on green that was pretty nice...

RKracing That would be too much green for most folks. But not this green
06-19-2013 11:09 PM
donmeca2020 i think personally that will be too much green... go with black or even polished looking wheels.

I vote for matte black!

Renegade2013 It's close to the color but yea I was thinking the same thing. However for 200 bucks it might be worth it just to see if I can make magic happen.

kappaknight If it doesn't match the CG of the Jeep, it could go very bad.

Green wheels on a Commando Green - HELP

Does anyone have any photos of a Commando Green jeep with powder coated "army green" wheels. I found a guy who will powder coat my wheels for a decent price but I'm torn on the color. Do I go the safe route and go with black wheels or do I take a chance and go with the "army green" powder coat? I figure the flat green wheels will either be awesome and very unique or hideously ugly!!

Does anyone have any powder coated green wheels they could share?

Thanks!!,,
