Skywgn1 Humidity is key. If they are dry they do not taste good. I like mine at about 70% relative humidity. Put your dry cigars in a controlled environment for about 3 weeks. The more cigars in the humidor the easier they are to maintain. I suggest a few CAO Columbians to help out.

DeweysMom The last time I smoked a cigar it was in 2003. I was partial to Davidoffs. I like cigars with a woody flavor.

If you are ever around the Cabelas in Hamburg PA, they have an AWESOME cigar store there, with a nice humidor. One of the sales people brought me in and showed me around. I got a couple of cigars to celebrate my 60th birthday, but I haven't smoked them yet. :-( And I can't remember what brand!

I have smoked a Cuban…darn thing was so dry and strong that I got really dizzy trying to keep it lit!

JAK Mmmm sounds delish.

Some people keep a journal of what they smoked and what the thought of it.

I've been growing my own this year...

Coolbreeze81 Hoping to keep this thread alive for us cigar smokers.. I was wondering how you all track the cigars you already smoked, liked, tasted, etc..

As for me, i am about to enjoy a smooth montecristo no.2. Picture to follow later on.

Skywgn1 One of the more unique cigars that I didn't expect to like but fell in love with was Salvinelli Rich and Rare. Was a medium to full. Had a very thick/chewy smoke with nougat, coffee and leather notes in my opinion. Come to find out, they are well known for pie tobacco. My go to brands are Alec Bradley and CAO.

ACal24 Now that spring is here, what is everyone ordering to stock their humidors? I just orderd myself the Wild Bunch Sampler from Eddie Ortega. I know one of the 12 Wild Bunch Members (Island Jim). I have had 3/12 smokes but really wanted to try them all.

I also use these guys for my Dannemann Speciale's. I have also found if you call them instead of online ordering you can actually get an even better discount.

ACal24 Hi all! Hoping to get this thread more active! I am waiting on my new JKUWW.

Has anyone found any good Jeep/car-related cigar accessories. This is me today (with the pup) waiting "patiently" for my Jeep

WininUtah Restocked my humidor over the holidays, got a box of Hemingway Classic Maduro, Padron 1964 Exclusivio Maduro and 2 boxes of Oliva Melanio Maduro. I'm about ready to order at least one box,10, of the Oliva V 2013 Maduro, this year they're Double Robusto.

I posted a while back that I was using Cigars At Your Price, I gave up on them after too many backorders and a difficulty getting a refund. I've started calling www.hilandcigars.com and asking about specials on brands I buy, they've really been aggressive.

charleybrwn13 I highly recommend Headley Grange from The Crowned Heads. I also like their JD Howard Reserve stick. Their Four Kicks is not bad, though.

Crowned Heads. Rare artisanal cigars

JakePurvis I got a beautiful humidor for Christmas and a box of my three favorite cigars, which I said earlier. Life is great.

Chuck59 Enjoyed / smoked a nice Oliva and Red Breast Irish Whiskey after Thanksgiving dinner today. Wonderful day topped off with a nice cigar & drink.

EnglishBulldog1 For my wheeling cigar I go with Sancho Panzas. I usually go with a cigar that the cigar shop sell cheap due to the fact they do not have labels.

Mikel01 Ah purros. My favorite...partagas series D #4. Harder to get now that I no longer live in SoFlo.

I am very blessed to have three very nice cigar shops near me. I am in one of them a couple times a week. If I find a cigar I really like and want to keep at home in my humidor, I buy a bundle or box online and save 50% or more.

Yes. My dad and I split one of those in Jerusalem. Ok I smoked most of it and it was excellent. I do prefer the Siglo 6 though. Its a little nuttier imo.

(This thread is an excellent idea.)

JakePurvis Just got some local Ybor city stogies last night. Robust, unique flavor, no bad aftertaste like many smaller brands.

lasik1 I have tried the Dominicans and Hondurans but always return to the Habanos- especially these:Attachment 276724

Cohiba Behike 54s, gorgeous pigtail cigar, amazing draw and flavor. I also enjoy the Montecristo #2 and Partagas Series 2 which is very full-bodied.

lolpetewtf Any of you guys frequent cigar bars?
07-22-2013 11:49 PM
Slider62400 Got Acid ones as a present and really enjoyed it. I am partial to Partagas tho. The roll is so tight that I try to see how long I can go without having to ash. Hemingway Short Stories are an excellent quick smoke. Def recommend.
