Neral22 I went with cheap. Rancho from amazon, $500. I wanted some side protection so I ran my old bumper through my table saw and added the side pieces, covered them with door guard, and I am good to go. Has a built in hi lift carrier. No rattles what so ever.

If I recall the studs were already in the brace that supports the spare tire. I wasn't missing anything. Just give Chris a call and I'm sure he'll sort it out with you.

MAG00 What do yall think about the paramount rear bumper with tire carrier? I know it doesn't connect to the door, but for the price it doesn't seem like a bad option.

flomingo I have the teraflex as well.. Only adds about 40lbs and you can always go with a light weight rear bumper down the road instead of adding a 160-190lb bumper/tire carrier combo

Walle TeraFlex! Hands down, it is the best carrier. Buy the accessory mount, and oyu can mount your HiLift and Rotopax to it. If you want, you can buy the JeepSwag HiLift accessory mounts to mount a shovel and axe.

duffer I went with the Rock-Slide Engineering version, primarily because I think it has the stoutest pivot. It did run a bit more than $1000. Fit like a glove and no rattles.

JGreer Check out the new ACE Pro Series rear with tire carrier. It is siiiick... The wait time is a little bit of a pain, but their stuff is worth it. Hit up Jason with Krawloffroad and he will hook you up with a great deal. Not to mention it is right in your price range.

bearman95 I have the AEV carrrier on the AEV bumper but it will work on the stock bumper too. It opens with the tail gate. Great set up.

joeuncool Here's what I have. Works well.

Flint_Holbrook I bought the High Rock rear bumper w/tire carrier by Best Top and am very happy with it. Fit like a glove and works great without rattles. Came with CB antenna mount, Hi lift mount and fire extingisher mount all for less than 8 bills.

redskinswin I would (and will be) go with the OR-Fab one.

R51 I went with the Teraflex and I like it. The other one on my short list was AEV, I liked the water storage and shovel mount plus I think it looks good. I still may put the AEV bumper on at some point, but now that I have the teraflex carrier that I can bolt my jack/rotopax to, I can spend my money elsewhere.

Kennyksu Check out the teraflex HD Hinge set and adjustable carrier. I think Northridge sells the combo for something like $655. You can retain your stock bumper or put whatever you like on it. With both pieces it looks like you can get up to a 38 on there with no issues. I just installed my hinge last weekend, adding the adjustable carrier this weekend.

Rancho We offer one, this is with a 37" tire.
It falls within your pricing too.
Good luck!

You can see where the Hi-Lift can mount too.

Rear tire carrier that swings with tailgate

What manufacturers make a rear bumper with tire carrier that the tire carrier swings with the rear tail gate? I think I would like this type better in general. Would be looking for something that is quality, but can't break the bank either. Pricing needs to be in line with most other rear bumpers with tire carriers ($800 to $1,000).
