This is heresy! The Wrangler is better than the G Wagon in every possible way. Even Car and Driver agrees 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon vs. 2012 Mercedes-Benz G550 Comparison Tests - Page 2 - Car and Driver

Not as flashy, but I don't much care for flash over substance anyway.

Drmad7 Nice jeep! I'd drive it!

Springtail I have always said that a jeep would make a great city car..mostly because of height and visibility (I envisioned a 2 door). I see this as a truck that the boss would take out to do estimates.

Beyond that...I kinda fail to see the point. I am afraid to ask what something like this costs.

Nice Jeep

Nice jeep, not sure that the chrome goes with the blacked out tricked out street look, but its your vehicle so if you like it...

I have a new Kahn Wrangler totally complete with many optional extras its black on black very stealth and even had the interior of the hard top painted black. The interior and exterior are all black. i part-Ex my mint Rubicon.

I know...I know not really the American way but here in the UK these vehicles always draw crowds they are understated and supreme with the Kahn conversion as ultimate in luxury. Not much off roading here in the city anyway, worst terrain my Jeep gets is maybe a puddle in the gym car park.

I love my Kahn Wrangler, I guess its a poor man's G Wagon and until I can get the funds to actually buy a G wagon, my Wrangler is perfect.

Guess that's what makes the differences between this American Icon so powerful it can be a master to all tastes.

It's the first thing I thought of before I opened the thread. I just opened it now to see how many Star Trek references there's been.

jonpriority Their are no others in this color(was a one off colour), I live in UK near Manchester and I dont think I will ever see another!! I have just owned a Dodge Nitro for 6 years and only ever seen another 4 or 5!! Jeeps Wranglers over here are even rarer!

I personally don't understand bling and flash on worktrucks. Worktrucks, to me, would seem like magnets for dirty, dents, dings, scratchs on the body, wheels and insides. I also picture worktrucks as having a higher probability of driving off of pavement, which, to me, screams a need for less rim and more tire. I see this in America with non-Jeep worktrucks, and I just don't understand the logic.

I hope any negative comments in this forum don't disuade you from posting here. The beauty of Jeeps is that they are the most customizable vehicle that I know of, so you can really make it your own. It is a nice looking Jeep!
Some businesses see the vehicles as a reflection of them and part of their identity. Sort of like the the gasjockys of the 40s and 50s wearing the white uniforms ties and caps. It is just a professional look that they are trying to portray, versus having a beat up grundgy truck showing up at a client site.

http://www.kahndesign.com/ Kahn is a customizer in Europe, like Unique Whips or West Coast Customs.

DC Dennis Did they pull and replace the head unit in that pic? Or where is the SatNav? Looks great! Although I would never remove my hardtop with that interior.

There's obviously a red home reflection, but I'm 99.3% sure he has red seats too. I just hope the OP's not AWOL, otherwise we're SOL on the seat color thing.

traitor08 I like that its a jeep. But I would have to with less rim, more tire, a lot more tread, lift, and no chrome. But that is just me. Its your jeep, I can respect another jeep. Ever take the top off???

Also, I'm just curious, and guessing again that your Jeep is a Diesel. If so, do you find it noticeably louder while driving, compared to a gas/petrol powered Wrangler? Someday we'll probably get a Diesel JK here in the States, although it most likely won't be a 2.8. So, I've often wondered about the interior noise level being that a JK is a much different animal, from say a larger truck.
