My wife always yells at me to stop so she can get out and take pictures lol. I liked the one last year on the Blue Ridge Parkway with the bear cubs up the tree. She was riding on the running boards. Then decided to jump off and run across the road to get closer. I opted to stay in the recovery vehicle lol

Sister inlaw took us over to PEI. We went into the national park and no one at the gates. Had a season pass and ended up going down some roads to out looks not marked. Never seen so much red soil either has the jeep
Also took dirt roads back to the bridge which was fun.

tomba Hey everyone, thanks for that....I'll definitely look in to it a bit more. One issue is that I'll be going back and fourth for a while, so theirs a possibility I'll have to run with both...this ought to be good..lol I did that before when I moved to the States from NS and did I ever get some looks from US police..

The rules are different if we go down to the States, buy it, and bring it back. You have to send the paperwork to the border 72hrs (I think) before you bring it back. Now, if you are moving from the States to Canada, it may be different. Best contact the Canadian border services and ask so there is no surprises when you show up. You will need a safety check once here, so make sure your daytime running lights are enabled!

If it's new, then that won't be a problem. But used, I wouldn't even bother. Any deal from there can be found here.
I'd imagine that it's just an out of province inspection and whatever else your individual province might require. I don't think it's a huge headache in particular - but I did get pulled over in Ontario on our way home from Montreal with a new car because we had apparently needed to have it inspected in Montreal before we left and THEN also when we got home to Alberta? Just double check the policies in whichever state you buy and whichever province you're in, I guess.

A friend of mine bought his truck down in Michigan.. I'm pretty sure all he needed was a typical safety and e-test once it was back in ontario
