theCollector White lithium grease might work better. They have in squeeze tubes or spray depending on what access you have.

KaiserJeep I have a tailgate-mounted 33x12.5 spare (extra room created by 1.25" JKS BL) and my tailgate creaked too. What I did was create a special 2" receiver insert for the rear Olympic A/T rock slider bumper, that supports the tire when the tailgate is closed.

Creaky tailgate when hitting bumps.

My tailgate creaks and cracks when going over bumps. I have a 31x10.50 spare in the rear with an aluminum rim. Any ideas how to stop this other than getting a number mounted spare carrier?
