my1stwrangler I say depends on where you live. Im not putting my behind on 115 degree leather here in the NC summer. So its up to you. Im just buying waterproof seat covers I can take off and wash for easy clean up. I always opt for cloth...

Beachtime Hi there, I have brown leather and love it...got these covers when wearing bathing suite or just plain dirty. White Sahara with brown leather interior looks awesome!

whiteyjfm Welcome to the forum.

And leather all the way. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. Plus it is so much easier to clean up ofter a dusty trail ride.

Lbear Husbands are always right Having had both types of seats the advantages of leather are ease of cleanup, leather doesn't soil as easily, resale value and it maintains its appearance better. The comfort factor comes more from the design of the seat than the cover material. My leather seats are very comfortable- even on long drives. The only negative I have heard is that cloth is cooler, but I have not found a significant difference in that regard. If you get AC it is irrelevant. For a vehicle that will likely get dusty and dirty leather is a lot easier to maintain. Now, let the disagreement begin.

Cloth or Leather seats on 2013 Sahara?

Hi, I'm HoneyBee. New to the jeep-thing and this forum. I want to purchase my first jeep and have a 4 door Sahara in the driveway to try it out. I LOVE it!!

I actually think the cloth seats in it are very comfy and I'm big on the comfort part. My husband thinks we should try to get leather but I'm worried they won't be as comfy. The dealership does not have leather for me to try out. I'm wondering if anyone has input about their leather seats. Since I have the option I want to get the right thing! Any other advice for a jeep-virgin like me would be appreciated.

Thank You,
HoneyBee
