Your new rims look great on your Jeep!

Did you do any surface prep before painting? Also, will the bed liner work on chrome rims if the surface is ruffed up?
Thanks!

I didn't do much surface prep. I took a little steel brush I use to clean my grill (like for cooking steak). And scratched it up to give it something to stick to. Then I cleaned them off with soap and a hose. Easy and to answer your question yes, just Ruff it up and do your first layer very light. The more layers you do the better it will turn out

Chrome in a definite NO for jeeps. All jeeps are different but everyone I have met say chrome on jeeps is off. If I were you I would do 1 of 3 things:

1) go with the craze and paint them black. Easy and cheap

2)paint them black, but keep some of the original paint to make a pattern of black and silver.

3)give your jeep accents and include the accent color in the wheel, to make them pop more and stand out

Painted my wheels today

Hey guys, I haven't made a thread lately and decided to do a little show off thread. I painted my wheels black today using rustolium bed liner, and I added a little blue paint the the insides to match my blue jeep, I also painted the insides of the rims blue, which you can only really see in bright day at certain angles. Well here's some before and after!
