|angry pug||Figured it out - cut a wire I shouldn't have. Newb mistake - oh well! Live and learn!|

|angry pug||Right - I had to splice the speaker wire outputs from the HU to the inputs on the amp. I think we're talking about the same thing. Strange.|

|woansleftpeg||I'm not an expert on UConnect or the factory radios, but I don't understand what you mean when you say you "cut into the factory receiver harness". To install an amp you only need the speaker level outputs from the head unit and maybe a switched live (although you can get that from anywhere), so I'm not sure where the harness comes into it. I can only assume you've cut something you shouldn't have done; there's no reason that an amp downstream of the head unit should affect functions.|

UConnect Not Working After Amp Install
I am stuck and need some help. If this has been answered, my apologies. I did look around but found no answer. I want to keep the factory stereo that came with my Jeep *for now*. The stock stereo I have is basic, not the alpine, with bluetooth, uconnect, Sirius & aux input. I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door...
I installed new POLK D651Ds & a Rockford Fosgate P300 amp. I rewired speakers to the amp and cut into the factory receiver harness for input to the amp.
All four speakers work well and sound great but I cannot get the AUX input to output sound, or the bluetooth, or Uconnect voice to output sound to the speakers. Is there a wire in the harness that I missed?
Please help and thanks in advance.
