WeekenderATX ended up with three small washers on each side. Had my son hold the wheel at full turn and I now have clearance. Thx. :-)

WeekenderATX I have 31x10.5 duratracs.
I'll try another pair of washers before I do anything else.
I've been looking at replacement lower control arms, but it looks like they'd rub too, even though they're tubular.

Jerry Bransford Are your 31" tires wider than the usual 31x10.50? Most get away with that size with 1-2 washers under the steering bolt stops. Adding the washers doesn't increase your steering radius enough to worry about. I had washers under my steering stop bolts but didn't bother removing them when I installed wheels that no longer needed them... it still turned on the proverbial dime.

PiePuncher You don't need anything but 1 washer on your steering stops. Nothing else is needed

Won't help like said above you need the right backspace on your rims or get spacers .

flflash Your either going to have to add more washers to the steering stops, add wheel spacers or go to a wheel with less backspacing.
I personaly hate spacers and for what they cost you can almost buy a set of steel wheels.

Lower control arm rubs 31s at full turn- spacers?

I've finally gotten under there and have found the (apparently common issue of) inner edge of wheel lugs rubbing on lower control arm at full turn.
I've added some washers to the steering stops, but I don't really wanna add more, as this will increase turning radius.
Am I stuck adding wheel spacers? I really don't want to if I don't have to. I like the stance I have now.
I attached pic inside of the front right corner at full right turn.
Please help!
