there are 2 small bolts on each side...one for each bow. Take the bolts out of the ends of the bows, slide them off of the brackets that are mounted to the roll bar and the top is free. Thread the bolts back into the bow ends for safe keeping.
From what I understand you have to remove the hard-top to get the soft top out.
A bit of a P.I.A. (not really, if you have a buddy you can take the Hard top off in about 15 minutes) But its only a one time thing....the FIRST time...from then on out it should just be swapping soft top for hard top and Vis-versa , each season.

Mike- He asked how to unbolt the softop

foxsat71 Wrong button. Remove HT so as to not damage it while removing the soft top.

thenorsepole You don't need to remove the brackets bolted to the bar, just remove the bows from that bracket. You'll need a small phillips IIRC. I would suggest that once you have the softtop off, replace those "knuckles" with some quick release bow-knuckles. Best investment so far since I'm constantly putting on/taking off the soft-top.

foxsat71 I would think you have to remove the hardtop to remove the soft top w/o

Mike- There are two bolts on the slanted roll bar on each side that have to be taken down. They are on the underneath facing forwards.

Two torx bolts hold it in place on either side of roll bar. Unbolt from bar, unbolt hardtop lift up and slide soft top out.
