squirrel792 The gear change is kind of ur own deal.but not really required going to that size of tire. I have a 2012 factory rim with a 265/75/r16 on it. Which i think is a 31". It went on the back with no problems. Just have to press down on the rubber stops a little more than they started out. The speedometer will be off a little it. Maybe at the most 5 mph

jml8dirt Oh, and one more stupid question:

Will the stock spare tire carrier work with the 31's and stock Gambler wheels?

Newbie Tire Questios

I just purchased a bone stock 2000 TJ Sport with 81,000 miles, a 4.0 and a 5-speed. I was planning on purchasing some 31x10.5x15's for it this week, but I have a few questions:

1) Will I need to regear the rearend? If yes, to what?

2) Speedo adjustments needed?

3) Is this a nice look and stance for a stock Jeep (Pic's mabe) ? It has 235's on it now and they look small with lots a wheel well showing.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

JML
