|Bigc3031||I just had to tighten up my track bar and align the front end. I also had some shimmy caused by a bad tie rod.|

|Trendsetter75||LMK how you got rid of your death wobble? How do the OME Nitro Sport shocks handle on the streets (Soft, Cadillac, Stiff)|

|Bigc3031||Hey Michigan, what lift and tire combo do you have?|
|10-09-2013 08:54 PM|
|SuperTJ||Nice build! Good looking LJ|

|Michigan37||Great looking LJ. You are moving right along! Here is my LJ with the MCE's. I love them, easy to install.|

Finally got around to the regear and locker install, man what a difference! I went with G2 4.56 gears and installed new seals, bearings, etc. ARB diff covers front an rear. Savvy/Curry HD steering, and Novak transfer case shift cables.
Nice, tight steering with zero shimmy or wobble. Regear fixed my shifting issues and put some pep in my step.
Pics to come.
Winter/spring projects will be Banks Sidewinder turbo system, new cats, Banks header and exhaust. New seals for hardtop, Kentrol stainless black hinges, MCE fenders, CB system.

|Bigc3031||New chromoly axles w/super joints are about the same price as RCVs. The RCVs eliminate u joint bind. Both are good products.|

|clull05rubi||Why does everybody shell out that kinda money for rcv axles when u can just get super joints and be done with it. Just as strong if not stronger and in the odd chance it fails there much easier to service on the trail.|

Very nice LJ! My fuel tanks are 3gal each.
The linex is totally worth it in my book. There are other brands out there but most are softer and tend to tear.
Finally got my Savvy/Curry steering set up, I should be able to get it installed this week.
Thinking about getting RCV axles when I put the lockers in, we will see what the wife approves.

|10to10||Nice, Nice, Super Nice! My wife has a 2005 LJ and she is hoping to do a similar build, just not as awesome as yours. Nice to see the LJ's getting built up...I love the style. How do you like the Linex? I been thinking of doing her's and mine, but I haven't decided if the price is worth it compared to rolling/ spraying it on myself.|

|Cptc223||What size are those fuel tanks you have on the rear? Also do you like that bumper?|

|Bigc3031||Awesome, make sure you start up a build thread!|

|Cptc223||That's pretty sweet man! I just got an 06 Lj I've got T&T front and rear fenders and sliders coming, K&N air kit, optima battery, and a Rough Country 4 in lift on it's way. Still haven't decided on the slip yoke or driveshaft yet though.|

Ride is pretty good but I've started to get some death wobble. Curry steering and new ball joints are the next project then the regear and lockers.
JCR Offroad bumper, Warn Zeon 10k winch with synthetic rope, steering box skid plate, Rigid Dually D2 floods and 10" spot light
Spod switch panel with custom rockers from OTRATTW.
Brown Dog Machine motor mounts.
ARB high speed on board compressor for lockers and tires.
Linex in the whole interior.
MOLLE panel on rear tailgate.
JCR Offroad rear bumper with spare tire carrier, Rotopax gas cans, high lift extreme jack, and Rigid Dually flush mount flood lights.
Huge gel battery and I dabbed up a solid holder.
Poison Spyder Rock sliders.
Marine grade components, sub, and amp.
Last Jeep club meet.

|Carolinanomads||How's the ride? Did you get the new bumpers installed? More pictures please.|

Picked up some 15"x9" black powder coated rims with Goodyear Duratracs 33"x12.5"x15". Completely changed the look and ride of the jeep. I have a good jump to get in too!
Ordered JCR front bumper-midwidth winch bumper with hoop and the rear bumper with tirecarrier/rotopax system and hitch. I'll be powder coating these matte black to match the rims.
I ditched the crome grill and installed Hella Clearvision replacement lights with their 55w? lights-HUGE improvement!
I haven't decided on sliders yet, I am leaning towards the Poison Spyder's with the side step, I like their step just a little better than JCRs.
BTW, the guys at the JCR shop are great, I stopped by to see if they sold stuff right there and they gave me a nice tour and showed me their great stuff!
Going to set up an appointment for linex for the tub next week and start figuring out what gears and lockers I want.
Big difference for sure.
My daughter approves!

2005 LJ build
I just bought a 2005 Silver Jeep LJ hard top with AT and 4.0. The goal is to build a daily driver with some great capability.
After pics of the DPG Ultimate kit install minus body lift
Oldest daughter Addison helping out
Jeep suspension lift
7 hour install time
DPG Ultimate Old Man Emu Lift Kit
-OME Nitro Sport Shocks
-OME Coil Springs
-OME Steering Stabilizer
-JKS front and rear Adjustable Track Bars
-JKS Quicker Disconnects
-JKS Rear links
-DPG front and rear Bump Stops
Not yet installed
-1.25"JKS body lift
-Brown Dog Machine 1" Lift Motor Mount*
-Currie Correctlink steering system
Future Wheel and Tire Package
-Mickey Thompson Classic III 16"x8" black rims with 3.75" backspacing
-Goodyear Duratracs 285/75R16
-Soaked all nut in penetrating oil twice to prevent broken bolts.
-Silly amount of socket/wrenches required. Why mix metric and SAE?
-Taking Jeep in for an alignment, absolutely needed.
-Broke front track bar bolt on axle side, the bolt was $4 and the nut was $16!
-install was fairly simple, anyone with moderate mechanical abilities can do this with no problem.
-If you are doing this yourself you will need spring compressors for the coils.
