KamikazeKLR Anyone in manitoba have any of the stock tires they're not using? I busted my spare so I need a new tire.

255/75/17 Goodyear Wranglers SR-A please!

Well do you want me to invite you next time we go out? I don't go on trails that are beyond a stock jeep's capabilities but you'll find it's a very capable machine as- is. I have yet to take any damage.

Off the top of my head there's a Red River Jeep club ride on Nov 1, perfect for novice drivers. There'll be lots of experienced people to help you as well. Also, when wheeling, I found that as a new driver it helps if you have a co-driver. So invite a friend!

PM me if you're actually interested in wheeling sometime soon before the snow or want more info on the RRJC run.

Finally found time to upload all my phone pics to photobucket. Enjoy!

How to hide a jeep.

How to get a TJ really stuck.

How to look cooler than everybody else.

While I was taking that last picture, this happened.

...aaaand the inevitable rescue. Had to piggy back the 2 jeeps to get him outta there.

Just a nice picture.

Didn't get very far in the marsh.

T'was a pretty lame trail overall but it leads to some interesting stuff if you're up for it.
Found some mud

...and quite a bit of water. There's a couple of these crossings around there.

Seems like us manitoba jeepers have a thing for hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

When you see our stove you wont believe that it can boil water faster than any coleman or primus camping stove but the whole setup fits in a 1.5L pot.

last winter our Dakota truck got stuck in our back yard and then froze to the ground. then I went driving in the back yard and almost got stuck myself. LOL that would have been a bad thing. Fortunately I managed to get out. didn't try it again. maybe this winter.....

we had lots of snow then.

Jeep. MANITOBA JEEPERS: Anyone out there looking to buy a mopar soft top. I have never used, nor opened it. I will meet someone halfway if they are interested so long as you don't live across the province unless you can come in for a special occasion. Selling it for $1450. Sells for $2000 on the mopar website.

Besides there are literally no amenities. Its like living in a trappers cabin 100 years ago haha so we have to bring everything with us (generator, propane, water etc). Plus we have a dog!

Also, the jeep is great for hunting. It's very quiet, capable, and we can sleep in the back. So for duck hunting we've been putting the canoe on the roof and sleeping in it overnight at the spot. We can also cook inside. The other day I made breakfast while still in my sleeping bag!
Just gotta keep a window open in case something goes wrong and you need to jettison the stove...

I'm actually going back out there tonight so I'll take more pictures of our setup and how cool the jeep looks.

Nice man! Where were you at? There are hardly any ducks in my area. Also I have to ask, why are you shooting birds so early in the season? I have always been under the impression that birds don't taste good this time of year, got to let them feed on the grain fields for a little bit. How do you find them?
