the rack itself adds 4", the rails another 3". I liked the front runner too, but ended up going with the Gobi Stealth. no drilling, works with hard or soft top, no wind noise, holds 300lb while moving and 800 lbs when standing still. I think the 300lb rating is the maximum allowed by law for racks. There are also little ports for running lights, and several mounting points for light. I'm pretty sure it adds less than 7" as well.

Unfortunately no, this was a single EBay auction for all 4 and they come out of '70s Cadillacs/Buicks, old refurbish Delcos.

They are A C D F notes. And together sound like a train

Awesome thanks man...

You guys have any idea if or who makes the clear pre filter for second generation AEV snorkel?

PrecisionPowder Not today but over a few days.

Bought a set of 1" wheel spacers and cerakoted them black. No more getting stuck to the hub or rusty lug nuts

Stripped the paint off my rear shackle mount and powder coated it. No more rust!

Pulled my wheels off to get new tires and stripped them to powder coat those textured black.

No completed pictures yet but here they are waiting to get blasted

Mid blasting

So that an interesting question that requires more info. Assuming your garage opening is standard 7 foot and that your running 35' with that 3.5" lift, the rack is going to add an additional 4 inches to the height. If you have a 2 dr it will sit higher because it weighs less and the compression on the springs is less so you probably going to have a four inch lift. It's going to be close

decotijo Mounted and ran wires for some CHEAP harbor freight off road lights. Not gonna keep them forever, but I wanted I get a feel for whether I would like them or not before throwing down some $ for something worth it. Anyway, they look good from the front, but I'm not sure if they look like some banged up buck teeth sticking out of a fat lower lip from the side. Any input is welcome!

Two week-ends ago heading south on a 2-1/2 hr highway drive to visit my son and get so e x-mas shopping in..... About an hour into the drive the AbS and anti-skid flashed on, kicking the cruise out. Found this strange as the road was dry clean pave with temp ~0*F and sunny.

Placed the cruise back on and ~10 minutes later again and stayed on. Stop at a truck/coffee pit stop, when I took off, all system normal, ~10 min in, same again and stayed on. On the last 30 min of the drive noticed the hill decent assist flashed and the rear brakes snapped on for like 1/2 second giving a real "wake up" rush, this happened twice.

When I arrived there went straight to the Chrysler/Jeep dealer there and asked if they could check to make sure its ok to drive, was about 11:00 AM, told me to call back around 1:30 PM, they may slide me in ~2:00. Well long story short... Turned out my front driver side wheel speed sensor cable was not passed through the right path and was rubbing on the axle shaft, it had worn through the insulation layer and was shorting out the sensor/cable. Said looks like factory defect and they replaced all under warranty, 3 hr in/out. I've got about 7k miles on it so far, and a few mods...

Just a thought, check your?

Em...

I checked as soon as I got home. The lights go off when I shut it off and restart. Then as soon as I touch the brakes I feel the abs kick in then the lights come on. I'm thinking I still have some crud in a sensor.
