What steps did u take to surface prep?

RafJeep I really like the way that 80/20 mix came out. Do you suggest I do the same? Does it give it that original Sahara look?

1987Wrangler YJ My jeep usually runs better when I take the air cleaner lid off. Try that for the air. for the fuel, maybe its the filters or fuel pump, both easy cheap fixes

RafJeep After I drive my jeep for about 10 minutes, the engine starts choking at around 20rpm. It starts in 2nd gear and eventually in every gear shortly after. Feels like it's running out of gas or not getting air but it only happens after engine is warm. Any ideas???

That's jeep karma! Congrats. Mine needs a ton of work I am hoping the process will be a fun one and not too draining on the pocket....

Just picked up a '91 sahara

My first love was an '89 islander. Sold it years ago and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I am excited to be back! Anyone have thoughts on plasti-dip?

JerseyDriver The YJ Sahara is my favorite... congrats.
My first "car" was a '91 Sahara handed down to me from my dad. I loved it. Oh, if only that backseat could talk.
Unfortunately I sold it about 10 years ago and have regretted it ever since. Well, I just got another one... an '89 YJ Sahara.

Congrats again... enjoy it. And get some pics up!!!
