|flipmeover||Thanks, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it.|

|btomcik||I had no issues with speakers or electronics after getting wet. The bikini top kept those things dry mostly though.|

That's the setup that I'm looking to run. Safari top, no doors, no carpet, wet okole seat covers. Did you have any issues with anything (like the speakers in the dash) after getting soaked?
I want to run topless full time, but I live in central Florida and we have thunderstorms every afternoon. Any thoughts on the longevity of the interior and electronics if they're exposed to the elements?

|btomcik||I have a Bestop Safari top, and had it on earlier this week. Front doors were off too. It poured and I mean poured - very strong storms. The entire inside (seats, floor, cupholders) of my jeep was wet from the rain blowing in...but no leaks or anything from the windshield channel onto the dash or radio, etc.|

|flipmeover||Thanks Scampers. I'm going to talk to Q about it and see what they can do. BTW, is that an old pic of your rig? It looks more virgin than I remember|

|Scampers||No, not at all, the only time you have to be careful is when you hand wash, there is a small area where the Windjammer and Safari top meet at the top that's not water tight. But I have had no problem when it rained here "once"|

|flipmeover||I really like the look, but does it leak significantly?|

|Scampers||My setup is the Bestop's cable safari top, Duster and Windjammer. Works very well. The Windjammer and Duster can be removed very easy for the open feeling|

I know there are several other threads on bimini tops, but none really address my questions.
I'm looking at the Bestop and Quadratec biminis and see they both require the Bestop windshield rail so the price difference is not that significant. From other reviews, everyone seems to like their Bestop so I'd probably pay the extra and go with that one.
My question is how much protection from the rain do they give? I'm planning on taking out the carpet this weekend and getting the Wet Okole seat covers, but I want to protect the electronics/dash on my 2013. Does the bimini leak around the windshield and windows? Do you typically get a lot of blow in from the rear? Thanks.
