New from SATX

Howdy! I'm a new Jeep owner from San Antonio, Texas...okay, the Jeep is really my 15 year old son's, but, I get to drive it until he gets his license.

This is the fourth Jeep for our family: we have had a 1992 Wrangler Sport (red), a '93 Cherokee Sport (red), and a 2003 Rubicon (white). The current Jeep is a 2010 Wrangler Sport (black). Nice Jeep! It seems the more things change, the more things stay the same! There is still a lever for the transfer case, the seats are still cloth, and driving a Jeep is still fun!

The best thing about the Jeep is the instant camaraderie you have with other owners. We picked the Jeep up in Dallas and three miles into the drive back, my wife and son got a HUGE thumbs up from another Jeepster--gotta love the Jeep wave!

Plans for the Jeep include a 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires...nothing too crazy! Probably going with an OME lift--I'm looking for reviews; if any one knows where to find the review, I would really appreciate a link. Anyway, great forum with tons of information!
