Exactly! Cheaper than a full Bed Tred set for a 2 door.

I am a little concerned about the UV protection. The only thing I like more about Bed Tred is its removable. Not sure I like the look of bed liner inside my Jeep (as opposed to my truck bed)- and its permanent.

You could always cover the bedliner if you end up hating it. That's why I'm gonna try (eventually) the Monstaliner. It's "only" $150 if I hate it and want to get Bed Tred/Bed Rug.

I was just saying I'd pay to Line-X over getting Bed Tred first.
Monstaliner outgasses pretty bad for the first three months though.

michiganadam cost me about $200 to monstaline mine myself...

Castrejo I would love to do this to my Jeep, i just cant find anybody in Australia (close enough) to do it. Maybe a panel shop?

Espo78 That Bed Tred product looks horrible. You have to remove it to clean it, and if you spray down your Jeep and water gets under it that's no bueno. So basically it's like having carpet. And its $500. Just bedline and be done with it.

I finally got tired (after had 5 baths this year in the Jeep) that I have removed the carpets. But when I have time I intend on putting black throw rugs back in. Then the next time I get a bath I can remove the carpet easier.

Top down since 1st week March & doors off since 3rd week March 2013. My wife keeps asking me if I have learned anything yet.

Delta Lyons I vote no carpet also. Did a roll on kit and it tuned out nice. I think it was bed armor.

I've hardly had the time to touch up a gouge in my rock slider- let alone prep for bed liner. But a couple of months without carpet- and my mountain bike and my dog- my bed is pretty scratched up. Gotta bite the bullet on something.....I just wonder if the Bed Tred will actually attract dog hair because of the texture....

machz I had my 08 done with linex and it was nice but $750 is steep. I have done two buddies jeeps with monstaliner and it was ok but the texture wasn't great. My current TJ had color matched raptor liner.

I have a anvil rubi x on order and I already have a raptor kit waiting for the day I bring it home. Tryst me and do your self a favor and look into the raptor kit. It's $109 for the kit with the spray gun and $25 for the base color. It couldn't be any easier to spray and looks as good as the lineX

michiganadam I know ive said it before but i have monstaliner. Have had it most of the summer. I am extremely impressed with it. Nothing has scratched it yet except when i put the seats in before it cured... and it can sit in the sun for hours and be cool to the touch.

You did that to the back storage only or did you take the seat out and have them do the floor for the second row seats too? I want to Line-X the second row all the way back, dogs and kid back there.

Thanks to all for those Line-X quotes.

I got a stupid question, but I cannot think of how it is done. If I remove all the seats and whatever, how would I get to the dealership? Do you tow it? Do you remove everything in the parking lot?
Eh, I hadn't at the time. Was always bedliner or carpet in all the pics. Well I pulled my carpet and it looked like ass. It's basically prepped for monstaliner but i havent been home to do it. Going to tackle it this weekend with the help of a couple of redheads.

CaptnGus Thanks! I told the guy at my local Line-X shop that he was out of his mind, charging $1400.

I gotcha. Shop around if you can, I have 3 line x dealers close by and it ranged from 450-650.

michiganadam Would be faster to move the wiring forward. The stuff under the door sills can be ignored for the most part, its covered by the trim molding. And itd look like crap to not reuse the molding. The wiring in the back does pose quite a problem....and its not much...

That wiring that goes under the passenger side seat is an issue too. And why is there a wire to my drivers side seat

It is not a 2 day job. At most a full day job. Drop off in morning and pickup later that day.
