|nghtcon||I removed the light and put as many strips of dynamat that I could fit and even wrapped some around the edges to the light would have a tighter fit and it helped a lot. Also if you do this be careful when removing the light because the clips are real weak. First lower the clear lens by putting a small screwdriver and on one end of the light and it should drop down. Then the rest of the frame should come down easy.|

|MBeshada||Glad you got it fixed. You actually don't have to do that much to fix this rattle. Just remove the dome light cover. That is expose two screws to remove the entire dome light fixture. Let it dangle then while stuffing some polyfill between the dome light fixture and the sound bar. It doesn't take that much to polyfill to make the rattle go away.|

Just fixed mine...FINALLY!!! Took the sound bar down completly (6 bolts). It also has a quick disconnect on the passenger side which is easy to take off. I took off the light and took out the speakers. I bought a $4 dollar pillow at Fred's dollar store and crammed the poly fill behind the light and as much as I could cram down the sides of the sound bar. Used about 1/2 of the pillow. Before I put the speakers back on, I glued some foam that I had lying around the garage.
Put the sound bar back up and tested it out. Put the Bass on 9 and turned the treble down and cranked up some of my daughters music which had plenty of Bass.
NO MORE RATTLE!!! Hope this helps

|Lil Black JK||
I had the same problem and used the poly-fil fix. I don't have the vibration any more. 20 years ago I would have installed a bass tube to give it some real thump. Sad that I listen to talk radio now.

|chopperbobby||my 2010 did the same thing. I took out the speakers and stuffed poly fill in the bar. really packed it in. Have not had a problem after doing that.|

Sound Bar Dome Light Simple Fix
Hey all, I know it's a bit tacky but for the dome light issue but it's cheap and easy. Remove hard or soft top. Take a strap (thin but an inch wide and able to be tightened) and do a loop around the dome. Be sure it is heat resistant and let's the bulbs still shine for when you need it. Place the roof back on ( or not) and tighten the strap firmly but carefully so that you don't break the plastic. Once it is sufficiently tightened, the resulting pressure on the dome light will remove all rattling. Works wonderfully. I previously had a horrible rattle on any song requiring bass on my 2011 jeep wrangler. Now even with a small subwoofer it still works. And a small black strap has never been noticed by anyone driving with me (that I know) Happy Trails!

Mine does more of a vibrate/humm as opposed to a rattle; I'm sure this is the same issue the OP is complaining of.
My soundbar is polyfilled. Still vibrates/humms.
Tried strategically inserting some of that sound dampening peel & stick stuff into the lense; didn't want to cover the lense, so just put it in certain spots. Hope was that the added weight would eliminate the vibration/humm. It's better - but I still get it more than I'd like. It makes me sad sometimes

Mine would rattle pretty bad during certain songs. I took out the speakers and filled the bar with poly-fil. No more rattle.
I originally took it to the dealership and they said to turn the bass down and that would solve the problem.

I get a small rattle on certain songs. I think it is the clear lens cover. If so I plan to add something to try and eliminate that. Some butyl rope in just the right place should do it.
Also going to add a couple of CLD tiles to the inside of the soundbar. Already poly-filled it. My aftermarket set-up currently has the soundbar speakers set-up just to add rear fill and there is little bass going to the soundbar - but the rattle there on certain notes. The CLD tile will stop the soundbar plastic from rattling/vibrating and that alone my fix the lens cover rattle.
