|larjeep||Getting a new front bumper. Pre runner style. Already have the new rear one.|

Which bumper, front or rear, and what are you going with.
Speaking of bumpers, I lost one of my D-rings on Sunday off the front bumper!

|larjeep||We will have plenty of stuff to climb next time.|

|larjeep||I ordered my new bumper today. Should be here in a few days.|

I'll definitely do it by Rausch. I still have to replace my front track bar, or if I can just the bushing. I've got the 3/4 spacers now to level the front.
Now I also have to do the alternator on my 94 Cutlass. And I need to get a new bed, Im not settling for a cheapo mattress........
Check this out..... I went to use my ac this afternoon after work, nothing. The whole engine compartment is covered in mud. I gave the ac clutch a couple of whacks with a wrench, saw lots of shit come out, and now it's kickin' again.
That was a fun run Sunday. I wanted to hit the hill, but without the discos, I just didn't trust that rut on the right. I was afraid I might get bounced over enough to the right that the ground would give way. That stuff is kinda soft right there.

|larjeep||Hey Jim. U order the discos yet.|
|06-19-2013 07:53 PM|
I'm probably going to update my front sway bar links with longer units that can disconnect.
And Larry, you're right, someone updated my front end with V8 ZJ tie rods!

|Jeeptrd||Just did the rough country 2.5 lift and tossed the track bar in the shed... Rode really nice, but didn't do the rear bar yet since it wasn't been as much of a pita for me as the front. Oh and those are the old wheels that I used together to my buddy's garage.|

|Rayko||Actually you do need an adjustable trac bar. Most lifts will pull the front end axle off center. You can see the difference. The right front tire will be sticking out about an inch further than the left side. The rear axle will pull out to the left, not as much as the front though.|

|larjeep||Nice. I had to drill my rear one out also. It snapped|
|06-19-2013 06:28 AM|
Actually, the rear was a pain. I broke both upper shock mounts on the right rear. I ended up drilling new holes next to the old ones.
The BDS suspension is WAY better than stock on the road. Soon I'll find out how much better off road.

|larjeep||How did u make out with the install. All set. Ready to go!|

Definitely taller than with the 2in BB and stock.
But with the winch/etc and rake still needs 3/4 spacers up front.
The rear kicked my ass. Broke both upper bolts on the right side. So I drilled new holes off to the side of the busted ones.
The BDS kit is WAY better than stock. It's firm, but under control. It feels real nice on the road.
Here's a couple pics:

|larjeep||Attach them after u have the spring installed. This way u can just slip them up and bolt in.|
|06-15-2013 06:28 PM|
|larjeep||Yes u need them for sure. Especially when using bigger springs.|

She looks good, Lar!
Actually, PB wasn't necessary as I just did the BB three months ago, and never-seized everything.
I'm actually working on the front half now. Just taking a beer break.
I'm a bit confused on bumpstop extensions, if I even need them anymore.

|larjeep||Start spraying it up with pb blaster Saturday to make it nice and smooth removal.|
|06-14-2013 08:32 PM|
|larjeep||U should be just fine from vibes with 2" lift. In any happen just add a washer or two to the skid plate to drop it a bit.|
|06-14-2013 06:42 PM|
Can't wait for Sunday. I may only install the front section of the BDS kit though. I'm running a 2in Teraflex BB, so I can do it in sections.
I'm confident I'm going to get more than 2in of lift out of this kit. The BDS springs are about 2.25 in longer than stock, but with a higher spring rate. I think I saw 158lbs somewhere on line. Stock (at least Moog direct replacement is 134lbs). But I should(hopefully) be good as far as driveline vibes are concerned.
