corvallisbattery I like the idea of a leveling kit via springs rather then spacers. Just seems a bit more robust and "trail rated"

You could get the TF performance leveling kit (springs not spacers) and with the added weight you'll be back to stock height.

You can't add heavy armor keep the stock springs and maintain the stock ride height. Somethings got to give and it'll sag Unless you do something to compensate

corvallisbattery I love the look of the rubi height stock. I use this rig as it was intended, so a spacer seems cheap/ not the best solution. I'd love a fully adjustable suspension with stock ride height available. I loove the rubi wheels and tires, I know if I lift I will have to go bigger. I guess I'm looking for an ultra strong reliable option option to maintain ride height after bumpers. Deep down I wanted to leave the suspension stock for warranty/ resale reasons when the 2016 diesels come out.

Rubicons do not have stiffer springs. Chrysler uses the same range of springs for all Jeeps, the only differentiation usually being 2-door vs 4-door.

Thanks. They're cut stockers. Easy and free. Cut your stock ones first. If you want to go aftermarket skip the plastic ones and go straight to tube fenders like ACE or Genright IMO.

thanks! looks great. my jkur is stock now. I know that EVENTUALLY i will have 2.5 lift with 35's. In the meantime i was going to do a TF leveling kit with 33's. But....if I can do a TF leveling kit and 35's now, it would certainly save some money in the long run. Did you trim your stock fenders or are those aftermarket flats? I was looking at BW flats and wondered your opinion. Thanks, and great looking ride.

Remmy18 Yes, you will see some droop from the weight of the bumper that will add to the factory rake. Cheap solution to get you back to stock would be a 1" spacer on the front springs. If you're planning to add rear bumpers, armor etc, I'd bite the bullet and get a 2.5" coil lift including front lower control arms (optional at that height but a good idea) and adj front track bar and you can build it from there. If its just a mall crawler, the 1" spacer will be fine.

I run the TF leveling kit, flat fenders on 35s but don't plan on heavy bumpers so it works for me.

RKracing You most likely have a downward rake right now. Install the bumper and then see what it does. Then go balls to da wall and get a Evo 4" long arm bad boy lift with 37's and you will be grinning ear to ear .......any thing else is just a compromise. Been there done that. Oh yes, and that will get rid of that rake.

quick rubi newbie question

I'm looking to go with an aftermarket front bumper on my '13 JKR. I've seen threads of people mentioning leveling kits to eliminate sage due to the increased weight.

Will I need a leveling kit with a new bumper in the 100lb range? I'm hoping because of the stiffer suspension it would be OK without. If I need it however, I will get one. Suggestions on quality kit?
