runamuck Someone who had the Jeep before me actually bored out and tapped bigger mounting holes on my steering knuckle. He then must have either bored out the sleeves or bought them that have bigger inner diameter. All I ended up doing was using my sleeves and bolts with the new caliper. Thanks so much for all of your responses! GO JEEP, THE BEAST IS LOOSE AGAIN!!!

Fabrokoner Are the mounting holes in the old caliper the same diameter as the new one? Just reuse the old bolts or buy new ones that are right as long as they fit through the caliper.

When I did my water pump it came with fan mount studs that were metric, they didn't even fit in the pump they came with. I went to parts dealer and he told me there shouldn't even be studs packaged with it. Reused the old studs and boom, all set. Perhaps you got "lucky" like me and got the wrong bolts.

I have a 1991 YJ with the 4 cylinder. I need a brake caliper. I went to both Autozone and Advance Auto Parts and the caliper that they have has bolts that are too small in diameter. We used the part number from my old caliper and it comes back to the same part. Anybody have any idea what in the heck I can do? I need a caliper!!
