Numbercruncher Thanks. So it is text based as opposed to a bunch of bar graphs and what have you.

Got it.

mi1knc0okies I heard you get miles till empty on non EVIC models too. Just not PSI and the TPMS. I believe you can control how long your lights stay on when you unlock and approach the vehicle as well as if the blinkers blink when you lock it. This is all from a thread I had about ordering my 2013 JKU without EVIC

ohioviper My wifes 2012 Ram has transmission temp, oil temp, psi ect ect.
My 2013 JK has tire psi, miles to empty and a few other useless things.

DetailGuy My 13 JKU has the "crude" display. Just a basic readout if things like mpg, psi on all tires and miles to empty.

What information does the EVIC provide?

The connectivity group packages includes an EVIC. On some very recent vehicles an EVIC provides multiple screens of data. Some of it may be superfluous or gimmicky but that is subjective.

On the pre-2013 RAM for example, the EVIC was a few crude numerical readouts for things like MPG. The new one has a lot of useful information similar to the 2012 F-150 I normally drive.

So in the case of a 2013 Wrangler, is it like the old RAM with just numerical data or is more in line with the new Ram or F-150?
