I know dad had the exhaust manifold replaced years and years ago.. I'm guessing they replaced that portion of the exhaust too.
Now that the wild goose hunt is over with.. *whistling*

|jherrington||I may be an idiot. When I took my skid plate off, I noticed some rubbing on my cat. Didn't think anything of it. Now I think my exhaust has been hitting my skid plate. Il check that out when the pipes cool off. *facepalm*|

Still get rattle with clutch in.
Clutch isn't spinning. Transmission isn't spinning. The only thing in there that's moving is the flywheel. If its not that, I'm a seriously confused person then.

I think I'm just going to take it to my mechanic. He changed out the clutch last year, so if its one of those parts, it should be under warranty and all I have to do is pay labor.
Unless someone convinces me to not spend upwards of $600 to get whatever it is fixed.

the bushing is there. Dad must have replaced a piece of exhaust piping because ive never seen the exhaust mounted there.
Again, you can feel the bump. not just hear it.

It doesn't sound bad in the video, but believe me. its a scary sound.
Engine seems to stop a little quicker. I also get a nice pop upon start up.

Loud thud after shut off/turn on
For the past few days, when cutting the engine off, I get a loud thud from beneath me. As if someone took a rubber mallet and hit my transmission.
This isn't EVERY time, but 90% of the time. I cannot replicate the thud if I just crank it up and cut it off. I have to have driven somewhere.
Now, for the thud on turn on, it's the same thud and then engine almost hiccups
It's a stick shift. It doesn't sound like its coming from the engine. So, clutch? Flywheel?
