3GS.. The 4S has the HD camera I think, well worth the upgrade for the small amount of money.

Here's some pics I took.. Enjoy.
After meeting at Shari's in Troutdale, We gathered at Kingsley Reservoir before our accent, we then were on the trails mostly to Mt. Defiance.
On the way back down we stopped to enjoy a late lunch at Kingsley before returning home.

We had a great time, We made it all the way up Mt. Defiance Saturday, Then was told an individual had lost consciousness twice in a 15 minute time frame before we arrived. He was coherent when we arrived and had a nasty cut on his head from a fall earlier. There was an ER doctor (Hiker) on site who was attending the individual. We were asked to stay until the Hood River County Sheriff's arrived just in case the individual needed to get down the hill sooner to meet them or the ambulance. (They did not have to ask, as we were the only vehicles up there) We also found some more trails that were very interesting, Especially, if you like rocks. When we came out it was marked with one black advanced diamond. And it was every bit of that. I have a few pics I will post here as well.
Yes, the Hiker later felt a little better and safely walked when the sherriff 's vehicle arrived under his own power with support of people next to him holding his arms just in case.. He was smiling and thanking everyone on the way out. :-)

You were at the Long Beach run in 12' I think when I was driving my Bronco.
If you have a fire extinguisher bring it.
The Fire Season started the middle of June there already.
I will be bringing my LJ/TJ tomorrow.

|Outdoors||I totally understand, We'll get some good pictures for everyone to see for our official run later. The intent of this group is going to be small which is actually the best fun to go when on an exploration trip. I only posted it at the last minute as an option for the heat tomorrow, and for those possibly not wanting to go to TSF that day as well. But you are all welcome to join us, and see what is just over the mountains. A much more laid back atmosphere then what you normally find and close by too.|

June 29th Tomorrow Explore Mt. Defiance
When: This Saturday tomorrow, beat the heat run.
Meet Up: 8:30am Troutdale, Or.
Shari's Restaurant exit 17 off I-84 east bound. 9 am Departure.
Destination: Mt. Defiance, Mt. Hood Nat'l Forest area.
Mount Defiance, OR - N45.64845° W121.72230°
Necessities: Oregon ATV class II sticker, Oregon Parks and Recreation Department: ATVs ATV Permits
Bring plenty of water!, and food for a good lunch and anything else needed for a warm/hot day trip. My plan is to be back by 4pm. This is primarily a scouting run for conditions of a future planned run later in July. So you won't miss anything if you don't go this time. I plan to be flexible and if time permits to include a fire look out visit in the area as well. This trip is mostly FS roads with some light wheeling to the top of Mt. Defiance.
Vehicle limits: Open run.
Please have your vehicle in good repairs, spare tire, jack, etc.
Fyi, I have traversed the trip with a stock LJ on 31's in the past, but I did bottom out a few times. So running 33's you should be fine. 31's with some suspension lift should be good as well.
Past Trip Info:
Mt Defiance "mini Rubicon" 6/24-26
Please post up: if you are going to attend, this should be a fun easy going run as the trip will take us to Hood River, Or and then south on Hwy 35.
Remember, It should be very hot coming back down the mountain.
