For those interested in the the Mopar Maximun Care Lifetime Warranty. Contact Clay R a forum member at Zeller Motors.
He was easy to deal with and well informed on the product. I just purchased the Lifetime and the Road Hazard from him yesterday and the warranties are already showing up on my Moparownerconnect.com. He has the best current pricing that I could find.
It is the exact same product as Mopar at a fraction of the retail pricing.

Maintenance services and items used in such services.
Glass, plastic lenses.
Body and paint items, including soft trim.
Wear items such as manual clutch assembly, brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums and belts are not covered at any time.
Snow plows, winches and trailer hitches
Glass? OK - for rock dings, but seems like other situations that come from manufacturing issues would need to be covered.
Body and Paint items, including soft trim - seems a little odd, again, for some circumstances

Basically, if its mechanical, its covered. Wear items and maintenance items not covered. Only other stipulation on the Lifetime warranty is it only covers up to NADA retail price for a repair. So if you have a $6000.00 repair and NADA retail is $5000.00, it will only pay $5000.
Nice thing about that is a 15 year old Wrangler with 225k miles can still have that much book! No-brainer if you plan on keeping it!!

|Noble||I cant say. They are controlled by Chrysler and the last price change was late this summer.|

How often does the price for the Lifetime MAX Care change? I am looking at around Spring to purchase a Sahara Unlimited.

|Noble||Nope. You can take it to any Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chrysler dealer. Plan service refers to cancels, refunds or upgrades to the plan itself.|

Question about Lifetime Plan
In looking at the plan, I saw this:
"Plan service will be provided or assisted by the Dealer who sold you the Plan, at his place of business,"
Does this mean that if I buy the Lifetime plan from you, I have to bring my Jeep to Kalamazoo, MI for repairs?

|jeeptrail||Read the service contract provisions. The service contract specifies that the contract is void if the vehicle is modified. Chrysler Group LLC is a division of Chrysler, under their own rules for this coverage. It's different than the warranty (3yr/36K mi; and longer powertrain warranty) given with each new jeep. Yes, Chrysler may cover you under those 2 warranties, even with a dealership installed lift and big tires. The service contract is an entirely different entity, with no provision for dealership or anyone else's mods being O.K. for continued service contract coverage. If it's not in the contract in writing, it's not enforceable, and you will not win in court. The "service contract" and what it legally must provide, is completely different than the standard new vehicle "warranty".|

They say we have 12 months from the initial purchase to buy it until the price starts going up. I might be getting it for my wife for Christmas, it's her DD.

I have never been a fan of the extended warranties because I have never used them, however this is what I bought this weekend and learned.
1. If you are going to buy an extended warranty, buy it at the end of the month, they get a bonus if they get X number of them sold - Jeep dealers
2. I bought their Platinum package which is 7 years/100k miles. $100 deductable - I paid $1634, so you you should be able to get the same thing from them if they offer it for used rigs.

I believe that the odds in Vegas of that happening, are next to none.......
But what is more realistic is the Dealers making high profit margins on these policies.............
Or are they selling these policies just to help out us consumers....
If you are correct, then we all had better send a thank you card off to our Dealers.........
