MarkGLHS ^save those factory parts, imo they will help you get a better price should you ever sell.

DOT Just picked mine up last week #330 no chrome grill or side decals but the plate is still intact also stock wheels still on the jeep for now, I was going to sell them after i put new ones on but now i wonder if that would be a mistake

Rubihara 416 I've had mine just a little over a month, had to drive about 500 miles to pick it up. #416. It has been well taken care of. I've had two TJs, a JKU and then this one, its my favorite so far.

ac427 I bought mine without really realizing what it was - just liked the color combo & the price was right. After a few weeks of modifying i did a total 180deg turn and decided to leave it unmolested. Fortunately everything i did was bolt on, but i foolishly sold the wheels to finance some new 33's & DC2's.

If anyone has or knows of a wheel set please PM me. I've contemplated taking a set of stock Moabs to a wheel refurbisher & have them paint & polish them - can't see that being cheap though for 5

MarkGLHS glad to read you folks are preserving the pedigree on these jeeps.

biggie All this time I thought it was Saharcon. I'm # 115. Bought it with 79K from a guy in Eugene, OR so we call him "Eugene"! I use it for my daily driver. We pull our teardrop with it and do moderate wheeling. Getting an LJ was a good move. The RSU was an extra treat.

I believe that they were molded to be a lighter color than the normal flares.

There should be a part # on the back of the flare...

Junky_One I'll take that hood jack mount off your hands

JeepScrambler Thanks! I just learned the TJ/LJ's don't register miles, I guess I am used to my old mechanical speedos.

wwch99tj Nice find, when flat towing it does not register miles...

TX_2000TJ Nice find!!!

JeepScrambler After several months of pretty intense searching, I finally picked up my first LJ. It is an '05 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Sahara and has been and AZ Jeep since new. It is number "0002 of 1000", 6 spd, w/ the hard top and has 38K miles. Some of those miles are from being towed behind a motor coach which is evident from the tow setup that is on the front of the Jeep (I will keep the tow setup on it). I plan to keep the Jeep stock as I have several CJ's to take on the trails. I am still debating if I want to keep the aftermarket bumpers that are installed or go back with stock ones. The high lift jack hood mount will be removed as well. So far I have only added the correct rear tire cover and black husky floor liners. Being a CJ guy all this plastic is new to me, but I am really happy with my purchase!

Only two dents on the Jeep are on the front lip of the driver's side fender:

MarkGLHS much better!

my996duc1 who knows why the stock stickers were removed... didn't make sense to me either.

I ended up using some rubbing compound to clean up the paint to the point where a very faint outline could be seen.... and I knew where the sticker outline was so I think I was being overly picky.

Stickers went on easy. They had built in guide with indexing marks to ensure they were aligned correctly.

MarkGLHS ^what schmuck removes the correct decal and throws on a wrong one?

glad you are going thru your classic Rubihara and making it look correct.

can't help you on the paint blending other than to take it to a shop.

and literally 65 minutes ago I passed a Rubihara going the opposite direction about 5 miles from my house.....that chrome grill and khaki paint are easy to spot once you know what to look for.

my996duc1 just picked up my oe SAHARA decals to replace the wrong sahara decals.
took off the wrong sahara decals and can see where the correct ones had been installed.

InvictusDecretum I have #268. It's fairly close to stock (for now, since I'm deployed), and it's in my sig and I think I put one in the gallery too. I really like the color scheme and the look of the LJ. In fact... Mine still has the stock tires (From what I can tell) and wheels on it ! 16" moabs with a 30.5in (I believe) tire.

It looked bone stock front to back. This was the 1st one I ever saw in person.
