t3456 I recently picked up a 98 sahara with 170k for 6500. The body and frame were perfect. All the jeeps I looked at with low miles seemed to have other problems.

coelement777 If it has been well maintained i would not worry about the miles, but you should post this in the california section to get a local to help you out with the price, as that varies alot by region.

help buying 1st jeep

Hey everyone im new to the site. Iv always wanted a jeep and now im in the market for one. i dont have much knowledge about them so what better place to come to then the wrangler forums right? I saw this jeep wrangler I liked and its also in my price range. Its a 2004 wrangler x hard top for $10,989 with 161,379 miles on it. 5speed standard v6. its drives great and looks just as good. I know thats a butt load of miles
so my question is, is this a decent price for something like this or should i just keep looking?
