|flipped73||I'm just paranoid but I carry about enough tools to fix anything. Spare fluids (anti-freeze, oil, gear oil, brake fluid, windsheld washer fluid, power steering fluid)and tape. At least a couple of rolls of electrical tape. That can patch rubber lines to get you some where to get new. Oh and don't forget a couple of bottles of water or soda in a cooler.I know it sounds like a lot , but again I'm just paranoid. 8-)|

|jeepwayoflife||I check fluid levels, air pressure in tires, make sure I have my tools to change a tire or repair something simple, and I always have a kit with jumper cables, food, water, a jacket, and general medical supplies. Oh and make sure you got some tunes|

200mi Trip to Skaneateles - tips or rules of thumb?
First road trip with the Jeep and for me, really, only being 19. Any tips or rules of thumb for before/during the trip? Changing the oil tomorrow, checked the fluid levels yesterday, and recently changed the tranny fluid to RP Synchromax.
What do you do to make the trip easier on you?
