|Graves||Having driven a 2 door JK and owning a 4 door, the 2 door is much more fun but the practicality of the 4 door can't be beat. Then again, with square headlights and 4 doors, I don't own "real" jeeps so my post is invalid . Seriously the 2 door is a blast to drive so if you're wanting "fun", stick with the 2 door. The 4-door feels vastly different.|

|JerryJeepster||I owned a tj with 2 kids and loved it. It was challenging at times but I was young and flexible. I have another 2 door now and I'm on my own and love it! Great on the trails and even better around the city. Especially with illegal u turns!|

I bought my two door 364 days before my son was born. Now we have a two year old and a a six month old, and using my wife's Rav4 to go everywhere
That is my only regret. Mine is a DD and a work vehicle, need to be creative for space but after a while you get used to it. I really enjoy my first Jeep.
I already have all my mods planned out, if I had a four door mods would be completely different. The four door is more expensive msrp and generally it costs more to modify, especially if you want to replace door accessories.
I did plant a seed in my wife's head to buy a four door, would be awesome.

|kballard72||Have had 2 have had 4... CJ, TJ, JKU... Says jeep on the side and the 7 slots on the nose... I cant see regretting a jeep purchase in either shape..|

|Damooch||No regrets I just needed four doors. Started off with two but after a year and a half there just isn't enough room for a family of four. Wish I could have them both|

I could not resist and are never satiesfied Had a 2 door Sahara 2012 Wrangler.
Saw a brand new 2013 4 door unlimited 10th anniversary Rubicon at my dealer, they only import 13 ex of this model to hole Sweden. I bought it.
Reason? More space I think and/or a new toy? It is still a Jeep
I love the hood
Sleep in it
Watching a movie
I think it looks awesome with no lift and 265/70/17 Cooper st Maxx on Black Rock Yuma rims.
Same wheels as above on my 2 door

Seems like if you're questioning at all go with the 4 door. Really no drawbacks compared to the 2 door that make any real world difference IMO.
I'd say if you're on the fence and go 2 door,
You may always question whether you should've gone with 2 extra doors, 60/40 seats, more
Towing, better resale, etc.

None. Love the short turning radius.
It is hard to find room to store gear but I love a challenge.

There's NO Question
2 Doors look like Jeeps. JKU 4 Doors look like this. My 2 door ROCKS!

I bought the two door and came from a Lexus GS350... I needed a change. I have not for one second wished I had a 4 door. Granted I know I am comparing apples and oranges here but the average person seems to think my old car was the more practical one. Maybe it's just my lifestyle but I find the Jeep to be infinitely more practical with the just folding the rear seats up. I went camping maybe a month ago and it was a breeze to fit everything. Soft top made me nervous to hide the cooler from bears though... that's a difference story.

Basically, to each their own...

I need the break over angle of the 2-door for sand dunes, and the small size and turning radius for city driving. I didn't care about the Jeep imagine and actually liked land cruisers more. I just wanted the best desert performance and the JK has that at lower cost than the land cruiser J70/LC70 or the FJ Cruiser.
The soft top means carrying fridges and furniture is also possible, something I couldn't do in a new land cruiser.

|Ricanbandit||I have always wanted a Jeep, always. Never got the opportunity always spent my money on Sports Cars. Now when I went to buy one, it HAD to be two door, HAD to. It was I have always envisioned a Jeep to look like. I LOVE MY JK! The cargo space sucks, actually the trunk of my Z4M has more space, but with it being me and the mrs, not really bad at all, drop the back seat and viola, everything fits (kinda). We looked at the 4 door, but it reminded me of families and soccer moms (no offense intended). Sometimes I wish for the extra space, but then when I walk up to it... I smile So the answer from this new Jeep owner is no, definitely no regrets!|

|Jstraw||I wish I got the 2 door with a manny tranny... Wifey stated, "I want a 4 door automatic"! I stated, "then it has to be a rubicon"! Win win (I think)|

Even getting groceries in my 2004 Rubicon was an ordeal. In my opinion - the 4 door makes the wrangler a viable option for me as I hunt, drive other people, etc. I like being able to take passengers and let's face it - no adult ever wants to try and climb in the back of a 2dr.
Really if you look at the automotive market now in general - 4 doors dominate everything. Crew cab trucks were nowhere to be found 20yrs ago now a single cab is a rarity.
So when decisions had to be made I opted for jku over a jkr.

Easy to park, extremely maneuverable and a very cool looking vehicle. To me, a real jeep has 2 removable doors and a soft top and a windshield that folds down.

|motojavaphil||Three of us went out to eat this evening and I asked wife to sit in back. She smiled and said I will be glad to. We both have had two doors in the past and know what to expect. I never thought of a 4 door when shopping for a Jeep this year. I looked at them and cannot get the juices flowing over them like I do the 2 door. I know there are folks who need or want the 4 door but the essence of having a Jeep seems locked in the 2 door.|
