Glad it all got sorted out!!

Thanks again for the offers and suggestions!

JOCJK Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give those places a shot after I call a couple local shops and see if they have any used tires hanging around.

Sinister6 Try TIRE KING +1 (719) 473-8706. They carry a lot of used. Ask for Jacob

Also try H&H TIRE 719-392-6453 they carry tons of used tires.

Spare Tire+Sway Bar Links

In what is beginning to feel like a never ending cycle of shit when it comes to my jeep I'm down a tire and proper sway bar links 3 days before hoping to go to Ouray.

Got the faulty RK Heim joint replaced on Friday night, it was totally shot when we pulled it, and then was going to do the bolt upgrade only to find that the RK Control Arm's are not actually 9/16th and would need to be drilled out. Anyway, with the trackbar issue solved I thought it would be wise to go out Saturday morning and immediately break something again. Headed up Wheeler Trail with Tim and Andrew and on the 2nd obstacle "my steering feels all jacked up" and Andrew takes a look and notices my Sway bar links have tacoed and flipped my sway bar. I should've manually discoe'd but having been a button pusher for the last year I forgot while airing down so I just hit the button again seeing how lots of people have said they still use the rubi disconnect with a lift. NOT A GOOD IDEA on rough trails.

Anyway, what we didn't realize until the next obstacle was that the flipped sway bar and tacoed sway bar links had shredded my tire, at least thats my guess now as I had large round hole on the inside the tire. Thanks to Andrew and Tim for their patience, help and creativity in getting the tire changed in a rather challenging situation.

So after my long winded story wondering if anyone has a spare 285/75/16 that I can throw on for the weekend, (I have a wheel for it). I don't care if it has any tread on it, just looking for something that would get me off the trail in a sticky situation. Also, if anyone has any longer JK sway bar links lying around that they are not using? I put on the ones that came with my Leveling kit and its a real tight fit. I'm thinking of upgrading to Currie Anti Rock and throwing the Rubi Disconnect off my deck....or sell it or whatever so I don't want to buy new links now. Plus I don't think I'll be able to get anything delivered by Wednesday.

Also just for shits and giggles my rear locker won't disengage and the sway bar motor was jacked again too. Did the pull the fuse trick for both and it solved the sway bar problem but not the locker issue yet so I had to drive to the gas station with my rear locker on which is obviously not good.

Shoot me a PM or give me a call if anyone has anything lying around. I'll throw you a few bucks, beer or whatever you want for it.

John
