phrak 31 today. Young enough to know what I shouldn't say, old enough to generally go with 'Let's see what happens...'

I love how everyone has to turn something political for absolutely no fucking reason.......

Anyways rant over--
i am 36 and this is my 3rd jeep and 2nd wrangler. First Jeep was a 1971 wagoneer then a 1995 4banger and now i own a 2012 JKU. Sold the YJ when my now three year old was born and picked up a subaru outback which when that blew the motor i went back to the wrangler. I really wanted a 2 door but with the car seat the 4 door just makes more sense. I am thinking this will probably be his first car that we will start to rebuild when he is around 14 or 15 or so.

I do enjoy it! Sometimes the days can be rough we do 30 on and 15 off. But I like what I do its a great way to learn and get some experience. I work for a company based out of midland tx called Selman and Associates. Right now I am on a team in north east PA which is sweet cause I am only a couple of hours from home. (I live about a half hour from Altoona).

coelement777 im 24 and on my 2nd jeep in 2 months. My jeep is my only car and i quickly realized buying a 97 with half doors and no a/c made sitting in traffic more miserable so i bought a 2013. I just sold the 97 today to the first person who looked at it for my full asking price. here is everything i have had, starting with my current ride
2013 JK 6 speed commando green
1997 TJ 4.0 5 speed blue
2002 Honda CR-V tan
2003 Toyota tacoma double cab trd off road tan
2008 Chevy Colorado z71 white what was i thinking
2008 Subaru Impreza
2007 Honda Element
all of them except the colorado and tacoma were manual transmission

Gotta say, my kids and I LOVE this jeep! I'm just waiting for the "I get more dates because of my Jeep" to kick in......

Yep, I'm a cool grandma
The looks I get when I go to daycare from all the minivan moms are funny. I get the "why did you get rid of your SUV??" All the time. I tell them it is because I felt like a boring soccer mom- to get a dig in. Maybe it is the people around here that behave that way- or maybe they are jealous

My Jeep is fun- my Audi wasn't. I can take the top off on the summer, run crap over in the fall an spring and get out of my house in the winter. Don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
