nicodemus Furthermore if there are no visible leaks on the 08 it is probably a better way to go if buying from the dealer... Why they'd have something on the lot with an oil leak is beyond me...

thetoadLJ what price is the 08? if its just gonna be for delivering mail i would lean towards an 08. idk how long mail delivery takes but i would imagine the 08 will be more comfortable.

looking at mail jeeps for my wife.the one is a 06 with 137,000 miles,really nice shape only noticeable oil leak is at rear of engine at bell housing.motor sounds great and runs good. the dealer is asking 10,995.only thing missing is spare tire and knob on radio.this is as is of course.all fluids looked good and clean and they said they did not service tranny before being put on lot.this is a rhd for mail.my main concerns would be the transmission?do you think this would last a while being in stop and go constantly?assuming it was properly serviced?anything else I should look out for?thanks for your time/comments
