It paid for itself already after I was able to re program my new tire size I also find afew parameters like trans temp, intake air temp, and coolant temp pretty useful.

TrueBlueJK I hooked up the aeroforce gauge to my spod, air gauge is pointless IMO.

kramer2k Same here. I plan on a tankless OBA so I didn't see the need either for the air gauge. I went with the one without it.

HunterTheBeagle I agree I have spod without guage and ARB without a tank. I don't see a need for the guage without a tank.

NFRs2000NYC I have the Viair OBA as well, but without a tank an air gauge is useless.

Smokinjoe I have the SPOD with air gauge connected to Viair OBA , if you like gadgets go for it it's only few more $$ for air info.

NFRs2000NYC The air gauge will give you the pressure in the tank. The electronic gauge hooks up to your OBD2 and will give you a bunch of other info. Personally, I don't see the point of the electronic one, and don't have an air tank to warrant the air pressure gauge. If you don't have plans on running a tank, don't bother.

Air Guage - Needed or not? (Purchasing an sPOD)

If you have an on board air system but no air lockers, or near future plans for air lockers, is the air gauge at the sPOD really needed? What is the real need for an air gauge anyways, if you are just using the OBA system to air up misc. things while camping and/or tires?

I want to get an sPOD and my future plans would involve an OBA system for general use. Just trying to decide if I need to get the standard sPOD or the one with the space for the air gauge.
