Here is a link for the mod says takes less than half hour and has lots of info for you. That way you can take advantage of the full capacity of the tank and stop worrying about fuel all the time.
Add 5 gallons to your YJ's gas tank in less than 1/2 hour?? - JeepForum.com

|AllMudd||You don't need to drop the tank to do this. It can be done with just removing the plastic fender well. It would be easier dropping the tank but not necessary.|

|ChicoJeepy||I'll be dropping the tank in a while to get the full 20 gallons. Once I do that It'll be in my build thread.|

|AllMudd||You take the rubber hose off the overflow/breather hose that attaches to tank and the gas filler. Once it's removed from the tank there is a skinny plastic tube inserted in the middle of the spout, get some vise grips on there twist a couple times and start pulling. The skinny hose that is in there is about 10"s long. Once you do this you will be able to fit about 4-4.5 more gals in the tank. The only downfall I have found since I've done this is the gauge reads over full for sometime before it starts to drop. But definitely am glad I've done it!|

Since it is set up as a 15 gal tank on stock wheels EPA said 15 city 19 hwy all in mpg. So since Km are .6 of a mile you should be getting
15 mpg = 24 kmpg
19 mpg = 30 kmpg
So with 14 usable gallons in the fuel tank stock you should expect 360 KM city and 420 hwy.
There is a mod you can do to the tank I believe on the 92 to get the full capacity of the tank to 20 gallons just have to search for the thread.
How is that

Full tank KMs
I've no idea what my 92 YJ 2.5 will do on a full tank due to the file gauge not working. The most I've gone without filling it is 405 Kms .
Does anyone have an idea what a 92 YJ 2.5 4 cylinder will do in Kms roughly?
