Pizzaman I manage a Domino's in the country just south of Lafayette La. Yes I think a Jeep is a great vehical for delivery. The MPG could be better, but it does get me to where I need to go. The old postal jeeps with 2WD and a hard top would be great but for the right hand drive. Alot of my drivers complain about MPG but I really cant (thank you my lil 4 banger) Its funny, but a few deliveries are hard to get to, and they will come and want me to lend them my TJ.. "Just for this delivery..please...". They fight among each other like they were going to deliver to a stripper club. It got so bad I now tell them, "This is my Jeep, There are many like it, BUT THIS ONE IS MINE!"

daddyjeep Hey, I was one for about 12 years. I just couldn't get away from that tip money. I feel that this job was another fine use for a wrangler. It saves time not having to open and close doors.

1BLKJP Howdy boss, welcome aboard. You'll find a good group of folks here. We are just starting out for the most part, but the board is growing very fast.

And Bless you for the direct assistance you were able to give to the stranded people of the floods.

Hello and Thank you

I own a Blue 2000 TJ 4 banger (yes, I know 2.5) with a 32" rubber and a K&N filter. I drive my TJ daily to and from work as my primary car. When I'm off road, I'm not a rock crawler; I'm a Mud Slinger. This is not my 1st Jeep thanks to 20 yrs in the US Army Military Police Corps, where I saw the retirement of the M151A2 1/4 ton truck (read Jeep) for it's replacement vehical, the Humvee. I've retired now to South Louisiana and the simple life of running a Pizza Delivery joint where I am still towing my employees (Troops) our of the mud. My TJ has weathered two hurricanes very well and taken us into the heart of New Orleans to help. The pictures on CNN don't do it justice. New Orleans has hogged the media while the more rural Southwest Louisiana has recieved less press. People in this area (Cajun Country) tend to be fewer, more independant and self sufficent. Luckly my family was only minimally effected. No Matter... I want to thank ANYONE that gave time, money or energy to the recovery efforts. While lawmakers and media figures debate dollars and plans; the regular people dry out that they can; rebuild where they can and go on living. Again, Thank you for what you have given; you have touched lives and made them better because of it.
Thank you, Pizzaman
