jokerchief462 Yes an exhaust leak with a bad reading by an O2 sensor will cause problems.

This is an excellent website with great info and will help you out.

Fail smog/exhaust leaks?

I have a 1990 yj 2.5L and i failed my smog, excessive NO almost triple the max amount. I found 2 exhaust leaks. One under the manifold right below the o2 sensor and another just before the cat where i welded the bracket for the pipe. Can this cause me to fail smog solely or is it my cat also?
